When to Dive

Seasons & Marine Life

Nov – Apr

High season. Calm seas, 20–30m visibility. Whale sharks possible Feb–Apr.

May – Oct

Green season. Reduced visibility but warmer water, fewer divers, and lower prices.

Water Temp

27–30°C year-round. A 3 mm shorty is plenty; many divers go in just a rash guard.

Visibility

15–30m high season, dropping to 8–15m in monsoon months. Always check daily reports.
